Además desde 1999 cada año se ha concedido un Nébula al mejor guión dramático, dentro del cine, tv, radio o teatro. También se suele entregar el galardon al "Gran Maestro" de la ciencia ficción que se otorga a un escritor vivo en reconocimiento a su carrera.
